The X500 goggle is the original tactical goggle designed for LE agencies and SWAT teams, and as worn by that guy in the famous SF image that has since appeared on the cover of TIME magazine. How to look like your heroes. The goggle itself features a sealed double lens and wide vents around the frame. There are even grooves cut into the foam to allow the use of spectacles. The view out is excellent thanks to the generously sized frame with good peripheral vision. As usual, however, you remain unaware of what your feet are doing except by looking down. The lenses are reasonably proficient and not fogging but are quite prone to scratching. Replacement lenses are easy to find, however. The strap extension is large (600mm) and more than adequate for wearing over a helmet.
